The Role

Are you passionate about talent management and succession planning? Do you enjoy meticulous co-ordination to facilitate leadership discussions?  This role is 80% talent & succession planning support to the HR Controller, with 20% HRBP duties for a designated small business unit.  If you thrive on structure, follow-through, and discretion—and want to grow into facilitating talent management independently—this is your opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

Talent & Succession Planning Support (80%)

  • Coordinate talent review sessions (scheduling, materials, logistics)
  • Act as secretary: record discussions, decisions, and action items; track follow-ups
  • Maintain succession plans and talent profiles (aspirations, mobility, readiness)
  • Prepare talent dashboards and analytics for decision-making
  • Future: Facilitate talent calibration discussions independently

HR Business Partner Support (20%)

  • Serve as primary HR contact for a small unit (40–80 employees)
  • Handle employee relations, performance management, and compliance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, leaver processes
  • Advise managers on team dynamics and engagement

What You Bring:

  • 5–7 years HR experience, with 2+ years in talent management, HRBP, or a COE role
  • Prior experience as a coordinator for senior-level review meetings (strongly preferred)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and absolute discretion
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS/talent systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday) and MS Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field (HR certification a plus)
