Responsibilities
- To set up social enterprise and provide amenity services in the transitional housing project, e.g. canteen, supermarket etc. to serve the community.
- To perform and manage the day-to-day accounting activities which include accounts payable, rent receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, fixed asset, budgeting etc. for the housing projects operated by Pok Oi Hospital (POH). Currently there are two transitional housing projects, i.e. Pok Oi Kong Ha Wai Village (博愛江夏圍村) and Pok Oi Sing Ping Village (博愛昇平村), providing a total of 2,599 transitional housing units for the eligible applicants.
- To establish and implement controls and measures to ensure the financial performance of projects.
- To carry out administrative duties for the projects under the management of Organisation Development Department and to prepare bidding proposal and funding application for new projects.
- To work closely with the Finance Department and the Operations Teams for the housing projects managed by POH as well as the property management companies.
Requirements
- A recognized degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- At least 5 years’ proven working experience in project management and accounting
- Possess knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Experience in setting up social enterprise will be an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill, strong analytical mind, well organized and self-motivated
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong PC skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
