About the Role

We are looking for a high-calibre leader to integrate and oversee our Corporate Communications, Marketing, and Fundraising functions. This strategic role requires an established professional with proven relationships with media leaders, corporate sponsors, and community partners. You will be instrumental in elevating Pok Oi’s brand profile while driving measurable revenue growth.

Key Success Factors

  • Strong PR background to enhance brand visibility – Proven experience in brand-building within an NGO institution (e.g., charity, healthcare, education). Deep media relations (print, TV, digital, news agencies) and strong working relationships with relevant government departments. Existing connections with decision-makers at charitable trusts and major corporate sponsors (e.g., banks, property developers, foundations).
  • Leverage multimedia & cross-platform channels – Track record of designing and executing multi-channel campaigns (social media, TV, SEO, physical events) that drive new corporate sponsorships or donation growth.
  • Strategy & team performance management – Experience developing and managing annual work plans for fundraising, communications, and marketing with clear KPIs to track sponsorship progress, media exposure, and fundraising ROI.  Target: increase net fundraising income by 10–15%.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Oversight

  • Lead multi-channel marketing strategies (digital, print, OOH, events) to drive brand awareness and sponsor engagement.
  • Oversee content production (videos, infographics, case studies, annual reports) to translate Pok Oi’s impact into compelling sponsor pitches.
  • Ensure monthly tracking and reporting of marketing metrics (reach, engagement, conversion).

Fundraising Oversight

  • Lead corporate, institutional, and major donor recruitment, retention, and management.
  • Leverage personal networks to engage C-suite executives, family offices, and foundation heads.
  • Set annual revenue targets and oversee grant applications, event fundraising, and online donation campaigns.

Corporate Communications Leadership

  • Act as Pok Oi’s brand guardian, ensuring message consistency across all external touchpoints.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts (news editors, feature editors, broadcast producers) to secure positive coverage.
  • Lead crisis communications and reputation management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in senior management. Non-profit or related sector experience preferred.
  • Excellent written and spoken Chinese and English, capable of handling all communications settings.
  • Outstanding strategic planning, networking, and team leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record in successfully planning and executing large-scale brand promotion or fundraising campaigns with verifiable results.
  • Passion for social services, with a deep understanding of and commitment to Pok Oi Hospital’s mission and values.
