「博愛好聲音—青少年歌唱比賽2025-26」由博愛醫院及元朗民政事務處合辦，並獲民政事務總署社區參與計劃贊助，歡迎12-35歲熱愛音樂的青年參加。比賽自2014/15年度起已舉辦多年，今年已踏入第十屆，歡迎所有熱愛音樂、具備歌唱潛能的青少年參加，冠軍可獲獎金高達$10,000，更有機會參與本院大型活動及表演！

Smoking Cessation Program held a health talk, &#8220;Let&#8217;s Explore the Harms of Smoking and the Benefits of Quitting Smoking,&#8221; on July 3, 2025, at Bethel High School. The talk addressed the harmful effects of smoking and the benefits of quitting smoking, promoting health awareness among teachers and students.

The importance of quitting smoking and various methods of quitting, including nicotine replacement therapy, were emphasized in the talk. Through detailed explanations and Q&#038;A sessions, students gained a deeper understanding of the health effects of various tobacco products, including traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and hookahs.

PHARM+ Pok Oi Hospital Community Pharmacy joined the “76th Anniversary National Day Celebration – Open &#038; Fun Day” hosted by Yuen Long District Health Centre on 1st October 2025. A game booth was set up to introduce the safe usage of medication as well as services provided by community pharmacy to participants.

Many residents actively participated in the game, enhancing their health knowledge while celebrating National Day.

PHARM+ Pok Oi Hospital Community Pharmacy joined the “76th Anniversary National Day and the 2025 Mid-Autumn Festival – Pok Oi Kong Ha Wai Village Carnival” on 3rd October 2025. A game booth was set up to introduce the safe usage of medication knowledge as well as services provided by community pharmacy to participants.

超強颱風「樺加沙」逐漸逼近香港，預計為香港帶來狂風暴雨及雷暴天氣，對社會造成不同程度的破壞，風暴後的復原及善後工作將對社會各界構成挑戰。

為應對超強颱風帶來的影響，博愛醫院密切關注颱風動態及採取一系列緊急應變措施：

「久久公益節」慈善活動 善心唔使等，即刻捐啦! (Chinese Version Only)

元朗地區康健中心（中心）致力於配合醫務衞生局基層醫療署的《基層醫療健康藍圖》，提供健康教育和評估，鼓勵市民關注慢性疾病風險，學習健康自我管理，以提升身體機能和健康狀況，積極推廣健康生活方式。

中心各持份者對於推廣健康生活模式不遺餘力，而中心的義工團隊更於中心基層醫療服務推廣服務中擔任重要角色。因此，中心特別於2025年8月23日舉行「義不容詞」的基層醫療資源交流會，向更多會員及市民介紹中心的義工服務。所謂的「義不容詞」，取其諧音，泛指義工對於中心推廣基層醫療服務的貢獻非一般言語可以形容。

自2022年12月起，中心舉辦了多次義工訓練計劃，目前已成功為中心招募145名義工，參與中心不同的基層醫療服務推廣。義工均為中心會員，而接受訓練後的義工們，可協助介紹中心服務，亦可以用第一身經驗分享對中心服務的體驗及個人健康的改善情況，招募更多新會員加入健康人生行列。部份義工更會參與中心外展服務，跟隨中心職員到不同地方擺設健康推廣攤位，帶隊參觀中心及社區藥房等。

過去一年，義工們協助中心舉辦超過2000場外展活動，向區內市民推廣基層醫療服務的「慢性疾病共同治理先導計劃」，並介紹多元化的健康醫療資訊。為表揚義工的傑出表現，中心亦藉是次交流會舉辦優秀義工頒獎禮，感謝義工們過去一年的支持與付出。同場邀請義工分享於社區鼓勵市民參與基層醫療服務的點滴並與參加者進行交流。

同時，為了鼓勵會員嘗試不同類型的義工活動，中心藉是次交流會隆重介紹義不容「詞」義工獎賞計劃，希望中心會員帶同更多親朋好友支持中心服務，攜手推廣基層醫療服務發展。

中心始終致力於深入社區每個角落，將健康服務與關懷帶到每位街坊身邊，共同打造健康生活的社區。

「義不容詞」義工獎賞計劃

元朗地區康健中心「義」不容詞基層醫療資源交流會 (Chinese Version Only)

The fourth dental clinic – Pok Oi Hospital Jockey Club Primary Dental Care Clinic – commenced services on 1 August 2025 as part of our commitment to serving the community.

In line with the government’s &#8220;prevention-oriented &#8221; policy, our clinic is participating in the &#8220;Jockey Club Dental Care Programme&#8221;, funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, to provide subsidized dental services for economically disadvantaged individuals. Services include:
<ul style="list-style: disc; padding-left: 1rem; margin-top: unset; margin-bottom: unset;">
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Oral check-ups</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Scaling</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Single-tooth filling or extraction</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Pain relief</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">One-on-one post-treatment care instructions</li>
</ol>

This initiative aims to facilitate early detection and treatment of dental issues among vulnerable groups.

Eligibility Criteria (must hold a valid Hong Kong ID card or &#8220;Exemption Registration Certificate&#8221; and be a recipient of one of the following):

<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Community Care Service Voucher Scheme for the Elderly (Note1)</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Home-Based Community Care Services (Note2)</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Hospital Authority’s Medical Fee Waiver</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Student Financial Assistance Schemes (Note3)</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Working Family Allowance Scheme</li>
<li style="margin-bottom: unset;margin-top: unset;">Low-income individuals/families (Note4)</li>
</ol>

Note 1: Co-payment Category II.
Note 2: “Integrated Home Care Services (Frail Cases)”, “Enhanced Home and Community Care Services” and “Home Support Services” subvented by the Social Welfare Department while paying Level 1 or 2 or Co- payment Category I or II fee charge for the said services only.
Note 3: “School Textbook Assistance Scheme”, “Student Travel Subsidy Scheme” or “Subsidy Scheme for Internet Access Charges”. 
Note 4: The applicant’s average monthly household income in the past three months ≤ the median monthly domestic household income by household size in the fourth quarter of the previous year published by the Census and Statistics Department.

Beyond clinical services, we actively organize free oral health talks and workshops for the community to promote public knowledge and skills in dental care.
