Since its establishment in 1919, Pok Oi Hospital has been dedicated to serving the people of Hong Kong with the mission of “serving the community with compassion and charity”. Over the past century, the hospital has grown rapidly and diversified its services, including Western and Chinese medical care, dental services, elderly care, youth services, child and family services, as well as education services, reaching out to different levels of the society and benefiting the community.
In 2020, Pok Oi Hospital successfully obtained the operational rights to the contract home on Kwong Yip Street in Yuen Long. The cost of establishing the new nursing home was generously donated by our permanent honorary adviser, Mr. Chan Kwok-wai, JP, who named the nursing home after his late father, Mr. Chan See.
Pok Oi Hospital Centenary Chan See Memorial Nursing Home cum Day Care Centre has begun operations and will hold its opening ceremony on November 12th of this year (to be broadcasted live online). The opening ceremony will be graced by the presence of Mr. Ho Kai-ming, JP, Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, and Mr. Chan Kwok-wai, JP, our permanent honorary adviser, as the guests of honour.
On behalf of the nursing home, we would like to extend our warm welcome to all guests, social welfare colleagues, colleagues, and friends to participate in the online opening ceremony. For further details, please refer to the invitation letter below.
Yours faithfully,
