Transitional Housing — Pok Oi Sing Ping Village
The transitional housing project at Pok Oi Hospital, known as “Pok Oi Sing Ping Village”, is another transitional housing initiative. It is located in Ping Che, Tat Kwu Ling, covering an area of 130,000 square feet. The project will provide 601 units to alleviate housing pressure for citizens who have been waiting for public housing or living in inadequate accommodations. The project is expected to be completed in the early part of 2024, with the first batch of residents moving in. It will benefit approximately 1,000 individuals in terms of housing.
Eligibility Criteria
Category A: (Priority) Individual or family awaiting Public Rental Housing (PRH) for not less than 3 years OR Families with newborns awaiting Public Rental Housing for not less than 2 years
Category B: Individual or family living in inadequate conditions or with special housing needs
