Responsibilities:
- Provide medical consultations to residents of Lam Tei Residential Care Home (RCHE) for episodic illnesses as well as management of chronic diseases, emergency medical conditions and end-of-life care
- Conduct annual health examinations for all residents and advise on care management in the Individual Care Plans of residents
- Lead the nursing and allied health professional teams to enhance health of residents according to their healthcare and psychosocial needs
- Collaborate with New Territory West Community Geriatric Assessment Team on management programs for Hospital Authority patients living in Lam Tei RCHE
- Stable working hours with no overnight calls required
- Posting to start in first quarter of 2027
Requirement:
- Registered medical practitioner under the Hong Kong Medical Registration Ordinance
- At least 5 years post internship in clinical practice in public or private sectors
- Holder of valid Annual Practicing Certificate
- Related qualifications in Internal Medicine, Gerontology, Family Medicine or experience in providing medical care to elderly persons in residential care homes will be an advantage
- Proficiency in Cantonese, written Chinese and English
