The Lam Tei Nursing and Residential Home for the Elderly (“Lam Tei Project”) is scheduled to commence operations in the first quarter of 2027. With a capacity of 1,434 residential places, it will become the largest elderly residential care home operated by a single operator in Hong Kong.

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR manpower planning, workforce strategy and execution in support of the establishment of the Lam Tei Project.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition and management, employee engagement, training, as well as compensation and benefits.
  • Provide professional advice to management on people management and organizational development.
  • Lead and supervise HR operations to ensure effective workforce management and full compliance with organizational policies and the Employment Ordinance.
  • Serve as the primary point contact for handling complex HR operational issues, offering solutions, guidance and support
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency by delivering professional and high-quality HR services across the employee lifecycle, covering onboarding, appointments, staff movements, benefits administration, payroll, HR system management and offboarding.
  • Prepare reports and analyses, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-organized administrative support.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of solid experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a sizeable non-government organization with knowledge of government subvention.
  • Substantial management experience in handling comprehensive HR functions.
  • The candidate must also have solid team management and large-scale recruitment experience.
  • Well-versed in the Employment Ordinance and related regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills, with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Chinese word processing and HRIS operations.
