We are spearheading one of Hong Kong’s largest elderly care home projects – the Lam Tei Project, which will provide 1,434 residential care places for the elderly and is scheduled to commence service in early 2027.  The project integrates advanced digital technology and innovative aged-care concepts, aiming to set a new benchmark for smart elderly care homes in Hong Kong.  To support the IT planning and digital transformation of this landmark project, we are seeking an IT Officer to support the execution of the project plans and be responsible for IT infrastructure and systems functioning for the Lam Tei Project, ensuring timely and quality delivery to support daily operations and long-term development. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support the IT Manager in the planning, development, and deployment of core systems 
• Coordinate and support the full project lifecycle for IT initiatives, including requirement analysis, system design, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system rollout 
• Support the IT Manager to plan, build, and maintain the IT infrastructure (network, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, servers, storage and related systems) and coordinate with vendors during construction and fit-out phases
• Coordinate the implementation and integration of smart technologies, including service robots, IoT devices and other operational technology solutions
• Support procurement processes for IT hardware, software, and infrastructure, including preparing quotations, tender documents, and budget estimates 
• Assist in establishing and enforcing information security monitoring mechanisms in line with organizational policies and regulatory requirements 
• Provide day‑to‑day IT technical support and training to staff 
• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters, coordinating cross‑departmental IT activities and requests 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
• At least 3–5 years of relevant working experience
• Solid knowledge of network management, server administration, and database maintenance
• Familiarity with Windows Server and PC operating systems
• Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese) and English
• Proactive, responsible, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Programming experience (e.g., Java, .Net, Python) or RPA development
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Alibaba Cloud)
• Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISA
• Experience in elderly care, healthcare, or NGO sectors
• Experience in IT support for construction / engineering projects
