Support the daily operation and development of Community Pharmacies (社區藥房) in Yuen Long / Tuen Mun for providing / delivery of program-based pharmacy services which include pharmacy and dispensing services to general public and residential care homes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Pharmacist-In-Charge in overseeing the daily operations of the community pharmacy, ensuring all work complies with standard operating procedures, relevant guidelines, and legal requirements
• Responsible for prescription dispensing, including clinical review of prescription; provide medication counselling to patients and communicate with doctors as needed
• Provide professional advice to customers on common minor ailments, and dispense over-the-counter medications and medical supplies
• Supervise pharmacy-related work of dispensers, clerical staff, and support staff
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
• Required to work flexibly according to service needs, including Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays for at least 11 hours per week

Requirements:

• Holder of a Pharmacist Registration Certificate and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong
• A Master’s degree or above in Health Sciences or a related discipline is preferred
• Experience in community pharmacy work and familiarity with medication management systems is preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English, with good written Chinese and English; ability to communicate in Putonghua is an advantage
