We are seeking a highly qualified candidate to lead innovation and IT development for the Lam Tei Project, the largest elderly and nursing home in Hong Kong, scheduled to open in early 2027. The ideal candidate will assist the Project Controller and IT Controller in planning, establishing, and implementing innovative applications and IT facilities. Additionally, the candidate will oversee IT security and manage other IT-related projects that align with organizational needs, utilizing the latest technologies to enhance cyber security, innovate, and deliver IT services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage the innovations and IT development in the Lam Tei Elderly & Nursing Home Project, serving as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues and requests.
- Support the procurement process of innovations or IT related products for the Lam Tei Project.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term plans to integrate systems or interfaces with Hospital Authority hardware and software applications systems.
- Take part in organizational projects such as CRM, Office Automation, Elderly home management system and drugs management system.
- Initiate, lead, and coordinate actions to strengthen and monitor information security and cyber security controls
- Conduct information security reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Cross-team collaboration on developing new security processes to enhance the organization’s security assurance level.
- Responsible for digital transformation and digital work space initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
- Negotiate and manage IT solutions vendors contracts.
- Perform capacity planning.
- Prepare cost estimates for projects.
- Manage and monitor projects progress, system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.
- Assistant Department head for teams manpower and financial management.
- Coordinate IT activities with other departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science or related field.
- 5+ years experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successful IT project management and delivery.
- Solid understanding of budget development and oversight.
- Strong analytical skills for identifying trends and solving problems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experiences in healthcare industry or NGOs.
- PMP certification.
- ITIL certification.
- Certification in CISSP, CISA, or related professional certifications.
