Pok Oi Hospital Smoking Cessation Program (SCP) recently held “Understanding COPD Better” health seminars at Tin Shui Wai, Leung King and Ping Shek Centre respectively，which aims to raise public awareness of the impact of smoking on lung health and to provide important information about Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

Nurses in the center provided clear and comprehensive explanations of the causes, symptoms, preventive measures and treatment of COPD, ensuring participants to gain a deeper understanding of the disease.

The seminar included a Q&A session where participants actively asked questions, and the staff patiently answered, promoting interaction and engagement among attendees.

The event offered various resources and support services for smoking cessation, encouraging smokers to seek professional help and move towards a smoke-free life.
