Smoking Cessation Program held a health talk, “Let’s Explore the Harms of Smoking and the Benefits of Quitting Smoking,” on July 3, 2025, at Bethel High School. The talk addressed the harmful effects of smoking and the benefits of quitting smoking, promoting health awareness among teachers and students.
The importance of quitting smoking and various methods of quitting, including nicotine replacement therapy, were emphasized in the talk. Through detailed explanations and Q&A sessions, students gained a deeper understanding of the health effects of various tobacco products, including traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and hookahs.
The talk also included a demonstration of a carbon monoxide concentration meter, allowing students to experience it and make learning more engaging.
