The Pok Oi Hospital Smoking Cessation Program, with the sponsorship from the Hong Kong Housing Authority, has organized a FUNDAY event at Po Tin Estate, Tuen Mun on November 4, 2023.
The event focused on the harmful effects of smoking and aimed to remind the public to quit smoking earlier. FUNDAY activities included Health Seminars, Health Assessment, Smoking Cessation Information Exhibition, On-site Registration for Smoking Cessation Program, Professional Counseling, and Booth Games. Over 800 residents actively participated in the event, making the scene lively and bustling.

A series of health information display boards introduced the benefits of quitting smoking.
Participants underwent basic health assessment.
Intentional smoking quitter receiving professional counselling services provided by registered nurse.
“Smoking and Stroke” seminar delivered messages that the risk of stroke reduced after quitting smoking.
Despite of their age groups, everybody actively participated in the booth games.
Participants threw darts at the target related to smoking.
